Is it always as easy as finding the best solution the first time? It may be ideal, but it isn’t always the case. When starting a new business that has no Betty Crocker cookbook you make a few mistakes before getting it right. It always leads to more time and money spent, but it is necessary.
Take a husband and wife that just welcomed a new-born baby into the world. Other than taking advice from family and friends that have gone before them, they’re on their own to figure out what best for their child; the best potty-training method, the best diaper rash powder, whether or not to breast feed. It all depends on the child. A new business is much like that new-born baby. There are stages a new business must go through, thus a series of what’s best for my child trials. You try one formula, and if that doesn’t work you move on to a different one until you get it right.
You simply don’t give up on a child with the first sign of desperation; therefore you don’t just give up on an idea or business. Find what works and nurture its growth.
